hey guys today we are going to learn how toinstall the amazon app store on to your child's leapfrog epic. it's really simple and willonly take about ten minutes of your time. to start you are going to be at the home screenand go to your parent portal and enter in your parent passcode. once in the parent portalyour guys screen should look like this. if it does not look like this you are going toneed to update the leapfrog epic. if you just want to press pause we will sit here and waitwhile it goes, if not you are going to start by going into the device. and down here whereit says app centre you are going to want to click that. here you will have access to theleapfrog app centre or other, you are going to want to click other. and continue. continueagain. and this is where you will download
the amazon app store. you are going to hitdownload amazon app underground, here you can learn more about it. tap the downloadbutton. since amazon is an android your child can have access to just about all the appsthat are available on the android network. as you can see here, this is where i updatedthe leapfrog and here is the amazon app pack. you will click that. and then hit next, next,and install. some of our favorite apps that we have installed on here have been abc mouse,netflix, daniel tiger, rosetta stone, the very hungry caterpillar, and my kids havealso really been into some of the disney apps. once here you click open. and that will load.i am going to skip sign in and just so you can see some of the things available. youcan do a search like "best apps for kids"
and go. as you can see there are a ton tochoose from. you can search this by free, you can search this by brand, whatever youwould prefer to find you will find a whole bunch. as you can see there is also a bunchof stuff in here that are not apps, or that are not free and would require purchases.so to make sure that your children don't have access to that you are going to want to goback to your parent portal and hit the app manager. as you can see right here it saysneither one of my kids can play this app, but you can see all the ones that they canplay. and that's it. if ya'll have any questions feel free to head over to our facebook pageand ask them there!
